ABOUT KAYLA
Hi! I’m Kayla. I’m so excited that you are here to see my work. Photography has become such an integral part of my life and I love to share it with others. It has helped me to capture time, emotion, and just life in its beautiful form. I started my photography journey when my first son was born. I wanted to remember all the fleeting moments of childhood and to encapsulate the true, beautiful work of raising a child. My style is inspired by raw emotion, natural light, and elements in nature. My hope is to allow people to really see the genuine, authentic beauty of their family captured in a simple photograph.
I am definitely a people person. Connecting with people is what makes my soul fill with joy. Loving and serving others better than myself is a blessing beyond words and can only be accomplished by the strength, love, and grace that has been freely given to me through my Savior Jesus Christ. I’m super compassionate, energetic, and have a deep love for the cultures and people that make up this world. My southern accent, weakness for sweet tea, loud belly laugh, and loyalty to the Crimson Tide all stems from growing up in my sweet home Alabama. Before photography, I taught elementary school in an inclusion setting with children of special needs. I love capturing children and have a special relatability with them.
I lived in Texas for 10 years, Georgia for 4 years, and now live in Queen Creek, Arizona with my husband and our three boys. We love being outdoors and enjoy being together. Being a momma is my highest priority and has changed me in so many ways for good. I have an especially tender heart for capturing the connection between a mother and child. Thank you for your interest in my work! I would love to meet you and help you capture life’s moments.
Can’t wait to meet!
~Kayla
